About the Event

Why Join?

The benefits of mindfulness are well documented, particularly within the modern field of neuroscience, and when you work in holistic therapy, yoga or treatments, you're problably already aware of the benefits of a strong mindfulness practice.  

So why not broaden your skills, with this indepth exploration of mindfulness; a chance to enhance your personal practice and gain a qualification too. 


This year, the course will be run online over zoom, but don't let that put you off.    We will still build a safe, authentic and respectful community where people can share their experiences and learn from those of other people.  Mindful enquiry is one of the most powerful ways that we can reflect on experience and gain experiential knowledge. 

Course Material 

The course runs over 9 weeks including a one week induction then the formal 8 week MBLC material.  Each week we will explore a different topic, starting with attention based practices; then moving on to constructive practices and finally as our experience grows, we will begin to delve into the topic of insight, and how we gain that deep self knowledge.    So what's included:

  • the experience is individual and you will follow your own personal path within a supportive framework
  • recognising the unsettled mind
  • building techniques to create inner space around our thoughts and emotions
  • coming to understand the powerful knowledge within the body
  • a view of our three part emotional system and how to keep it in balance 
  • how to implement mindfulness into daily routines - including great tips for clients 

Personal Practice 

To get the best out of the course a 30 minute daily practice is recommended, and you'll have full support with a free dedicated app that guides you through the practices ensuring you get the best out of the experience. 


The course is taught by a mindulness masters graduate who is also a teaching member of the Mindfulness Association UK, an organisation that puts safety and authenticity at the heart of their teachings.   Attendees receive certification from this organisation and this opens up avenues for future learnings. 

Course Materials 

The course includes a free book that covers all of the taught material, and access to a free app with over 30 practices.

The course runs over 9 weeks and the sessions are 1.5 to 2 hours.  An optional follow up session is included one month after the course completion.   The sessions will run on a Sunday morning from 9.30am.  On completion you are invited to join our Monday mindfulness group.
